How to Determine if a Dog Is Dehydrated

As an informed dog owner, you should know when your Spot is dried.

Steps

1. Touch your canine's nasal area. Preferably, the nasal area is cold and wet. If it is dry, your dog is mildly dried.

2. Check their gum area. The gum area should be wet, like the nasal area. If they feel difficult and somewhat dry, meaning the dog is not producing enough spit, the dog needs a consume.

3. Fill your canine's h2o bowl with h2o that is clean. Dogs like cool or h2o.

4. If your dog needs more moisture, give a few tsp of Pedialyte (a children's medication) or some Gatorade*. The water help renew your pup.

Warnings

If your dog seems weak, tired, and/or won't drink(or if h2o doesn't help), seek advice from the vet.
Consult your veterinarian before giving your dog Pedialyte or Gatorade.
