How to Diagnose and Treat Your Dog

Is something not right with your dog? Preferably you should take it the vet as soon as you observe, but sometimes this isn't possible. Here's what to do.

Steps

1. Instantly begin maintaining a journal. History the following with as many information as possible:
symptoms (lethargy, diarrhoea, bowel problems, nausea, scratching)
time and regularity of symptoms
what the dog has been eating
when the dog urinates and defecates

2. Analysis the signs. You can do this on the internet by talking to with pet sites and boards. You might be able to filter it down, but it's unlikely you'll be able to create a analysis without a veterinarian's help. If one of the prospective problems is dangerous, take your dog to the animal medical practitioner immediately.

3. Cure the prospective problems individually, supposing the therapy does not present any threat to the dog. For example, if the dog is damaging a lot, flea clean him. If you discover ticks, implement a flea therapy.

4. If your therapy doesn't perform and the signs proceed, carry your dog to the vet.

Warnings

Scratching might be ticks, but it could also be indication of an allergic reaction.
Some pets become competitive when they are in discomfort.
