Steps
1. Use a good flea hair shampoo, ideally one containing rose or orange or lime oil. Ticks can't stand both of these while animals are completely unchanged.
2. Alternatively, you can also use herbal remedies. Mix rose oil/citrus oil with h2o and a few pieces of orange. Apply this home made solution on your dog to keep off fleas. Giving a bath using peppermint rich in h2o or massaging watered down essential sebum such as pepper mint is also an option as fleas are repelled by both.
3. Add a small quantity of garlic cloves to your canine's food. The fragrance repels fleas and is valuable for your pup's liver organ and renal too. However, keep in thoughts that a lot of garlic cloves will be harmful.
4. Improve your animals overall diet program by increasing the vitamin content, including intestinal support minerals or probiotics. This will boost your pup's defense mechanisms and help it fight off insects at some level.
5. Medication such as lufenuron (commercially known as Program) or imidacloprid (commercially known as Advantage) may also be used after talking to a animal medical practitioner. Lufenuron is taken by mouth while imidacloprid is a "spot-on" product that must be used on the skin.
